These photos were taken at a spot that's not normally polluted, although they're near a smallmarina. It was late in the summer season when I took them and I guess that's why the plants don't seem to be as healthy!? There were hardly any blooms left, actually; and when I saw the box in the water, I decided to make a statement about pollution! [Have told people companies can't be responsible for what happens to their packaging after it leaves their hands, by the way. In this case, am sure the box must've accidentally blown into the water.]
The moral of the story, of course, is to put garbage where it belongs--and not in the water!
Some parties in the police project in western Canada have supported environmental causes.
