This photo was taken at the cabin my husband had built for his occasional trapping work. [And believe it or not, things like trapping and hunting are sometimes helpful to the environment. A balance is needed in nature--it doesn't always happen on its own! (Especially not if wild animals are doing damage to people or their property--and hopefully people didn't build in the nesting areas of the animals!)] *** My husband is holding our son in the photo. *** My husband had also been working with Native youths; and he took them out fishing regularly and probably taught them something about trapping!?
