Have been writing a little about Michael Jackson in my Waterlily Story blogs since 2009.... Some people are too young or too old to know much about him.... And there are Christian people who believe in only Christian entertainment...but there are religious people who see entertainment as part of life and they don't mind secular entertainment. Myself, I'm somewhere in the middle, and I understand and accept that people can be religious and also participate in or produce secular entertainment. [This blog post isn't intended to be a detailed editorial on the merits of Christian entertainment....]
As far as "MJ" goes, he was raised by a religious mother but his father wasn't religious and he was the one who pushed MJ to take lessons and go into music from an early age.... MJ had no choice in the matter, at the time, but he was very talented. So, MJ grew up to be a secular entertainer but he also held some strong religious and charitable beliefs and values.... MJ is known for philanthropic work and for visiting children in hospitals....
Because of MJ's early musical training, which was very intense, he felt he missed out on his childhood--he didn't have much time to play with other children--and he was at times very lonely in his personal life.... He was accused of sexual abuse but the complaints were eventually shown to be false. Some people didn't like him and they called him Wacko-Jacko.
When MJ died in 2009, the Internet crashed because of so many people making inquiries about him; and it was estimated he had around one billion fans around the world.... He had a long career spanning many decades and I also saw him on television when he and I were both children....
My work in the secret police project is something I believe in. I believe the LGBTQ people have needed help in different ways [and this blog post also isn't intended to be a detailed analysis of the kind of help they've been getting]. If some people can get past their homophobia, then they can start to examine and understand the other issues better. My opinion is that if there was a person of influence who wanted to help the police, I'd certainly welcome and accept their support. It's desirable for the cause to be made known.... And the more people who know, the better.
Will write some more separately about MJ.
