According to my account information, people haven't been paying much attention to this Waterlily Story II blog for a while. Some feedback I got earlier indicated they thought the pictures were nice enough but they didn't agree with the issues, or they didn't believe my stories!
Was I trying to post a lot of pretty pictures to make myself look good? Well, considering the things I've been accused of I wanted to put my best foot foward, for sure. Did I mean to make it seem as if I was perfect? No, not at all. In fact, I've been writing recently to my contacts that I was a little depressed in high school, at times, and I even battled with suicidal thoughts for a while. My parents marital separation just before I started high school, and some childhood teasing and bullying were some underlying factors which took a long time for me to deal with! Have lately been thinking that I'd like to do something to help others, especially those who were bullied or abused as children or youths. One of the first things we can do is to speak out about our own lives, I suppose. Have been thankful for a lot of professional counselling I've received over the years. And my family has tried to support me, the best they knew how.
