If there are Christians, or even other people, who are reading my blog and who are interested in the issues, I'd like to ask them to pray for me and for this business. There's a lot involved and I could use support, myself; and I'd like to see something resolved successfully for the people whom we're trying to help.... A lot has actually been done already, which I can't explain here, but it would be nice also to tell the story of what's been going on--and it would help to further break down the prejudice among the public in various parts of the world.... Of course, there might be new prejudice as there usually is when someone's trying to do something worthwhile but I believe it would help to tell the story. And many people have already given their support in the past and they were expecting to see results--something they could see--as in a public story. One thing some of the parties had in mind was to make a movie through Hollywood.
Would God, or Christians, like to support Hollywood? The thing is, some Hollywood people have already supported this business and I believe profits have been earned. The money isn't really an issue, as far as that goes. [Although it's not me who's dealing with any funds.] And if there's an opportunity, a movie would reach the most people and it would more or less be based on true facts--a true story.
The police groups have been quite spread out and there has also been competition among them. We need for the police to come together. And in the meantime, I've been under quite a lot of stress. But I'm working diligently at this point to see something happen.
This is the second part of my original Waterlily Story blog. Would like to tell more about myself and add some pictures. [For background information, please go to the first blog. People should also look through the list of Labels if they have concerns about a particular area. They can click on each subject separately, as they wish.] Thanks for visiting!

Michael Jackson--part 2
It seems Michael Jackson wasn't just wearing his one glove in the 1980s. Have seen a photo of him wearing it in 1992; and have also seen a photo of him wearing it in his 30th anniversary celebration in 2001.--The anniversary concerts were held in New York City and were broadcast on TV a short time later.
If I'm a person who supports traditional marriage, some people might ask why I'd want to make a public display of supporting, or seeming to support, gay marriage? And I've said I support gay marriage for the purpose of gay couples getting equivalent-to-married legal benefits. Also, I don't think it's right for Christians to want to make the practice of homosexuality a crime.... It seems awful to even refer to this subject, at this time, after so much has been accomplished in society. But some Christians are still in that place...!

Michael Jackson
Have been writing recently in my first blog about Michael Jackson; and I had written about him near the beginning when I first began my blog. What I'd like to say here is to repeat the same question I asked at the beginning: Does anybody know what the purpose of the one glove was that Michael Jackson wore in his performances from about 1983-1985? I believe his brothers [at least the ones who toured with Michael in 1984], his mother, and possibly his father know the answer...?
Okay, it's just something for people to think about...! And they can read more from my first blog, also, if they're interested.

Expansion of Religious Exemptions, or not
Have learned people in a number of states in the USA have wanted to expand the religious exemptions in gay marriage to include individuals and businesses who wish to refuse service on grounds of conscience. There have been steps taken to change the laws but there hasn't been much success. And in my opinion, I don't think the changes are necessary--even though some sincere people mean well. I think people should just cooperate in a spirit of charity, if nothing else. But there still seems to be a lot of ignorance of and prejudice against homosexuality.... As time goes on, I expect views will improve but there will be work to be done in the meantime, also.

An Amended View of Gay Marriage
In the past, I've been writing about civil marriage and legal partnerships for gay couples even though I intended to support full equivalent-to-married legal benefits for them. What I've been realizing since then is that in both Canada and the USA, we have gay marriage [in states where it's allowed in the USA] with "religious exemptions." The exemptions mean that any church official who normally performs marriages isn't required to perform gay marriage if it would offend their conscience.--That's what I understand. So, churches which don't condone homosexuality aren't required to perform gay marriages. If these churches want to take a stand on homosexuality, it's their right to do so, which I've been trying to express earlier. And I believe it's a good thing for churches to be able to do that. However, gay couples can have the right to be married elsewhere; and they can have the right to set up their homes together, instead of remaining alone or becoming involved with numerous partners. Therefore, I believe I can support full gay marriage, as long as religious exemptions are allowed--and I would be firm on that point. [But it hasn't been an issue in North America, as far as I know. The religious exemptions have been in place, without question--to the best of my knowledge.]
